The Studio :: Mazzo
When ADHD Meets Creativity
My many, often intense, interests seem to rotate by the seasons, which makes it difficult to allow for a dedicated space for just the one of them. For a long time, I thought it would simply not be possible for me to do anything art-related beyond it being a hobby. Simply because I haven't got the long-term focus to keep it running in the same direction "as necessary". But the idea of a many interests covering studio really did resonate with me. This way I can create and publish what lies within my current focus for you to enjoy.
Our Old Friend;
Time
Between a full-time job and being parents to an autistic son, with added personal time-keeping difficulties, it can be a challenge to find the time to do what I enjoy most. That said, I also do not want to rush anything into existence. I've had the joy of learning about "slow living" and am a big fan. Taking my time over a project to make sure it turns out the way I want to is exactly what I want and need. In a time where everything has to go fast and be easily consumed (sometimes within seconds), this can be problematic. But it is a conscious decision I made.
